Visit Us
Blow Hall is located on the W&M campus at 262 Richmond Road right adjacent to Dawson Circle. Our offices are located in Blow Hall Suite 150 which is on the side of the building facing the interior of campus and James Blair Drive. The entrance to the suite is under the back staircase right below the Charles Center.
Directions from College Corner
From College Corner (the "V"-shaped intersection of Jamestown and Richmond Roads), proceed on Richmond Road. You will see Sorority Court on your right and then the exit of Dawson Circle on your left (Dawson Circle is a one-way street). Blow Hall can be seen from the exit of Dawson Circle. If you drive a bit further, right across from Wawa is the entrance to Dawson Circle which will put you right in front of the building.
Parking
Campus parking is regulated and strictly enforced Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Outside of those times, unless the spaces are subject to specific restrictions, campus parking is open to the public.
In many areas of and adjacent to, the College, street parking is subject to certain restrictions. Read the signs carefully to avoid being ticketed. Richmond Road has 2-hour parking available on both sides of the street.
A few metered spaces are also available to visitors. The closest metered spaces are located in Dawson Circle right next to Blow Hall.
Visitors who are employees of the College and hold faculty/staff decals have many parking options within a short walking distance from Blow Hall. In order of proximity to Blow Hall, they are: Dawson Circle, James Blair Lot, Old Dominion Lot, Bryan Lot, and Stadium Drive.
Visitors can also obtain a visitor parking pass, available from Parking Services at 201 Ukrop Way, from the circulation desk at Swem Library, or through the respective office visited ($3/day or $15/week). Visitors with such passes may park in the garage at 201 Campus Drive, at any campus space designated for visitors, faculty/staff, or students, and, if appropriate, at any space reserved for the disabled. They may not park in areas reserved at all times, and in metered or timed spaces.
Additional parking, both free and paid, is available in the Merchants Square area opposite College Corner.
Air Travel
Three airports are conveniently located to the William and Mary campus: Richmond International Airport (RIC), Norfolk International Airport (ORF), and Newport News/Williamsburg Airport (PHF). Richmond and Norfolk are approximately an hour from the College by car; Newport News approximately 40 minutes. Keep in mind that there is a tunnel between Norfolk and Williamsburg, which can sometimes cause traffic delays. All airports offer shuttle service to Williamsburg and the College.
Train Travel
Amtrak offers train service to Williamsburg and can be a convenient way to travel from the northeast corridor. The station is about a fifteen-minute walk from College Corner.
